Long Island SAT and ACT tutoring!

Professional SAT/ACT tutor available in Nassau/Suffolk and the
Hamptons this Summer.
About me:
My name is Amy Fortsch and I am a full time SAT/ACT tutor. I am almost
23 years old, but I have been tutoring the SAT and ACT for almost 5
years. My degree is from CW Post University. My age allows me to
relate well to each student that I work with. I have worked with over
200 students and have related to each and every one! I have worked
with students of many abilities, ranging from the highly motivated-top
of their class to students to less motivated students that need a push
to understand how important the SAT really is! I have also worked with
students with various learning disabilities and have used IEP's and
other backround information to make my lessons work for each student.
However your child learns, you can count on me to "decode" their
learning style and figure out something that works for him/her!
Success stories!
Most recently I have taken a student that got a 1470 (out of 2400) on
her PSAT's and brought it to an 1860 (out of 2400) on her first SAT.
We are awaiting the results of the May test to see if her improvement
was more that 400 points!
Four of my students tested over a 700 (out of 800) on the math portion
of the March exam. Everyone else was 580+
More than five of my students tested at or above a 29(out of 36) on
the April ACT!
Mostly every one of my students will see an increase from their PSAT
of 200+ points, as long as they are dedicated to consistent work with
me!
